Reshaping Healthcare

The DoTank team worked closely with the Colorado Hospital Association C-Suite, Board, and CEOs to reshape their vision of healthcare in Colorado. Our team facilitated sessions with the Board and CEOs over the course of four days at their retreat. The planning and preparation started weeks in advance.

Strategy design is at the heart of how we deliver value at DoTank. We thrive with any team, from the Board to the front line. We also value our alignment with partners like state hospital associations, helping reshape healthcare nationwide.

The Process

CHA and DoTank strategized how to take a three-day retreat. We used the voices of the Board and more than 70 CEOs to guide the future of healthcare in Colorado.

Current State Analysis ~ Collective Vision ~ Collective Impact

We work with the teams to discover their current state, coalesce on their collective vision, and ideate our collective impact. We’ve replicated this process with teams focused on any kind of strategic vision. No change small enough to evade our attention.

Tools

We used visual canvases to power the work. Using canvas-based activities, we explored healthcare in Colorado, market challenges, and potential solutions. We deployed a string of human-centered design sessions focused on a period of discovery, ideation, and action.

Outcome

In a short period of time, we were able to convene more than 70 CEOs and collect insights on how the association should reshape healthcare in their state. At the end of the retreat, we had hundreds of data points to analyze. This culminated in an analytic report for the association, which serves as a compass to strategic action.
